Conquering Mont Ventoux’s trails
This 89 km route plunges you into the majesty of Ventoux, offering a deep dive into its varied landscapes. The end of the race offers a unique view and an unforgettable experience, with the Dentelles on one side and Mont Ventoux on the other.
You will start at the foot of Mont Ventoux, in Malaucène, and run the iconic climb, passing through remarkable sites such as the Groseau nature reserve and the charming village of Sainte-Marguerite. The Veaux bridges in the Toulourenc gorges offer impressive panoramic views. You'll pass through Brantes, a typical hilltop village, before reaching the Mont Serein resort and the summit of Mont Ventoux.
Along the way, you can explore ancient stone sheepfolds such as Jas des Pèlerins and Jas Landerot. Discover the Combe de Fiole, typical of the combes on the south side, and architectural treasures such as the Chapelle Piaud and the ancient Aqueduc du Barroux. The Col de la Chaîne offers an iconic view of the Dentelles, before savoring the Crête d'Arfuyen, a veritable balcony overlooking the north face of the Ventoux.
