On the trails of Mont Ventoux
The route begins with a section on the slopes of Mont Ventoux that culminates in a breathtaking view of the Dentelles de Montmirail, overlooking Mont Ventoux. Starting in Malaucène, at the foot of Mont Ventoux, the first few kilometers take in the iconic Mont Ventoux climb, then you veer off through the Groseau nature reserve for a total immersion in nature. After that comes the Piaud chapel, a witness to timeless beauty, and the ancient Aqueduc du Barroux, steeped in history and charm, before the Col de la Chaîne reveals a breathtaking view of the Dentelles.
Your experience is rounded off with the Crête d'Arfuyen, a natural vantage point offering breathtaking views of the north face of Mont Ventoux. This 26 km introductory trail is an invitation to discover the wonders of Mont Ventoux, its trails and natural beauty. An initiation that will give you a taste of the essence of the Grand Raid Ventoux by UTMB.
